Two Mowers with Many Answers
The R Series and AMR Series robotic mowers are built for different jobs but the same goal—tackling today’s landscaping challenges. Here are some of the essential questions potential owners ask.
Remote-Operated Mower Questions
The R Series Remote-Operated Robotic Mowers are engineered and built to handle serious slopes, nasty terrain, and the issues of extreme landscaping.
Amazingly. If the incline is 50° or less, you can run the R Series without a winch. Mowing horizontally (side-to-side), in both forward and reverse, is the preferred option. A diagonal mow pattern can also be employed. Lastly, vertically (straight up and down the slope) is possible, but puts added strain on the drive system. In all cases, never stand/operate directly downhill from the mower. See our Steep Slope Blog.
Strictly speaking, no “programming” is required. The mower is remote operated with a handheld unit.
By using an R Series mower you are instantly taking personnel off riding mowers and tractors, eliminating rollover potential. You’re removing crews from creature-filled vegetation with the possibility of bites and stings. And you are putting them on solid, flat ground at a safe distance from the mowing.
The R Series mower allows you to go from 7 weed-whacking employees to one operator running one machine, doing 8 hours of work in less than half the time.
The reality is, maintaining our Remote-Operated Robotic Mower is very much like maintaining any zero-turn mower or similar piece of gear. Our machines come with complete maintenance schedules and detailed instructions.

Autonomous Mower Questions
Our Autonomous Mowing Robots™ (AMRs) are a precision tool and a revolutionary solution to the labor, growth, and employee morale issues of today’s landscaping professionals. We know you have questions—here are a few of the typical questions we hear in the marketplace.
In general, our Autonomous Mowing Robots cut from 1.5 to 2.5 acres per hour. In a single day some AMRs mow as many as 20 acres.

Yes. Our Autonomous Mowing Robots are designed to mow in the rain, hot, cold, night or day.
Our Autonomous Mowing Robots are designed to last upwards of 2,000 hours.
No. Our Autonomous Mowing Robots run on gasoline. This allows all-day operation and avoids an investment into electrical infrastructure/support.
The cuttings are mulched with a mulching deck and evenly dispersed. There is an option for a rear discharge deck that will eject clippings out the rear of the mower.
Yes. Like any good zero-turn mower our Autonomous Mowing Robots will create stripes. Our AMR lays stripes like the best commercial mowers on the market today.
